Each year Bamberg County School District receives Title I federal funds for eligible schools. The schools in our district that receive those funds are Richard Carroll Elementary, Denmark Olar Elementary, Bamberg Ehrhardt Middle, Denmark Olar Middle, and Denmark Olar High School. Of these funds 1% must be spent on parent/family involvement. We want to get feedback from parents about how you think that money should be spent. Richard Carroll Elementary School is gearing up for the upcoming standardized tests with a unique approach - a Test Prep Boot Camp Spirit Week. From May 1-5, students will dress up in clothes based on the day's theme, creating an exciting atmosphere to help them prepare for the tests.

Find out how you can order the RCES Yearbook online, before the deadline. No extra copies will be available for purchase, so if you don't purchase online you will miss your chance to get a yearbook.

From March 1 to March 31, 2023, any RCES student that misses no more than one full day of school, will be entered for an opportunity to receive a monetary gift made possible by our local business partners. Students will be randomly selected. Selected students will be announced after the closing date.

Children who are four years old on/or before September 1, 2023 will be eligible for the 4K program, pending screening. Children who are five years old on/or before September 1, 2023 MUST be enrolled in a five-year-old program. Read the rest of the article for more details.
